Yesterday we went to the bridge.

People stood waiting
waiting for bodies to come up in the river.
Searching for family.
or just watching
waiting.
I came home and wrote this.
today. this country. despair.
where to turn?
who to blame?
what to question?
where is my daughter? my brother? my friend?
questions of the khmer.

but Lord you are faithful,
You hear their cries,
You know how to comfort them,
You have peace that surpasses all understanding.

I have faith,
but how do I share your story
how to show them you and your love.

A culture where
3% are christian
most don’t know your son’s name
most believe there is a god in the sun/ moon
and many more things that I do not know yet.

they don’t know the creations story
they don’t know you formed us out of dust and breathed life into us
they don’t know you of your love
they don’t know of your power, your stories of miracles and healing
they don’t know of your grace and you son on the cross…

What do they believe in father show me?
where are they turning?

I rest in your love
in the good and bad
I know you are faithful
in the good and bad

how do i share this

how to love a country full of despair

my heart cries out for them O Lord!

Please continue to pray for Cambodia.
Today is Thanksgiving.
I am thankful for everyone.
Y’all have supported me, prayed for me, loved on me.
I am thankful you are apart of my life.
Most of all I am thankful for the Lord.
I am thankful He has brought me to Cambodia to serve and love.

Today in Cambodia it is a national day of mourning.
I am thankful to be here and to be able to pray among the people of Cambodia.
